UE moved up 18 spots in the The Wall Street Journal’s 年度U.S. College Rankings for student engagement 和 now sits at #16 in the nation among more than 4,000 four-year colleges 和 universities in the United States. Insights for this ranking are gathered through the Times Higher Education US Student Survey 和 include questions about interactions with faculty 和 other students, whether a student felt involved 和 welcome, 和 whether the student would recommend the school.

“We often refer to our campus community as the UE family,” said UE president Christopher M. Pietruszkiewicz. “Students feel at home with us, with a built-in network of support preparing them for future success.”

UE has also been named one of the Best 大学 for Your 钱 for 2019 by 钱 杂志. 钱 uses research 和 advice from the nation’s top experts on education quality, 融资, 和 value to create a practical analysis of the nation’s best-performing colleges. Schools were ranked in quality of education, 可购性, 和结果, including graduate earnings.

吉卜林 also recognized UE for its outst和ing value. 今年, the University moved up 19 spots over the 2018 rankings for the Best Private College Values for 2019.

UE was also highly rated by 利基市场, which uses survey information from current students 和 recent alumni to rate schools 和 give them a letter grade. UE received an A grade in both diversity 和 value, 和 was given a grade of A minus in the areas of academics, 教授, 学生生活.

利基市场 also named UE as one of the Top Private Universities in America list 和 one of Best 大学 in America, Best Small 大学 in Indiana, 和 Best Value 大学 in America.

UE moved up on the overall U.S. 新闻 & 世界报道 排名升至第6位, 和 for the first time this year, UE was recognized as one of the best schools for undergraduate teaching. Schools ranked in this category are chosen for having “faculty with an unusually strong commitment to undergraduate teaching.”
