What has been your most rewarding experience abroad so far?

当我不能用西班牙语与当地人交流时，我的能力是一个非常有益的经历. 和一个完全陌生的人开始对话，并且能够持续一段时间，这真的提高了我说西班牙语的信心. 我现在知道我有能力用我的第二语言进行有效的交流, 我相信回到美国后，我就不会那么难为情了.

What has been your favorite part about your host culture?

I really like how welcoming the Argentine people are; from day one Argentina felt like home. 阿根廷的许多传统都围绕着与朋友和家人分享食物和时间. For instance, the Argentine people share mate, 和彼此一起喝传统的巴拉圭茶，作为与他们关心的人共度时光的方式. Also, 传统的阿根廷烤肉是一群人一起分享，肉放在桌子中央.

What has been your favorite trip you’ve taken?

I really enjoyed my trip to Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego. 他们称它为“El fin del mundo”或“世界的尽头”，因为它是南美洲最南端的城市, and the world. What will you miss the most when you leave?

What is your best advice for a future study abroad student?

It does not matter where you study abroad, 只要这个项目能提供你想要的出国留学经历. 每天做一些能把你的舒适区边界推得更远的事情吗. 这是你从留学经历中获得积极成长的唯一途径. Seize every opportunity that you can, whether it’s a cultural activity or a night out, you never know what you may find that you will like. 在你的留学经历中，不要太在意钱的问题. 在出发前预算一下你能负担得起的东西，这样你就不会成为那种总是抱怨自己没钱，买不起某些东西的人. 无论你在哪里，都有很多免费和便宜的事情可供你做, 所以感谢你在另一个国家度过的时光.
